About
Energetic, gregarious, unpretentious and real are some of the words that describe Alexander. He is a Melbourne based TV personality and presenter, published author, entrepreneur, socialite and a multilinguist where he converses fluently in five different languages.
Bringing life and style together, Alexander's main goal is to always be true to himself and to strive to be the best person that he can be. Alexander has over 20 years of business experience spanning over three countries, beginning at the age of 24. From Singapore to the world, Alexander has travelled the globe, gaining invaluable knowledge and behind the scenes experiences which became the foundation for many of his successful business endeavours. After graduating from the Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Alexander went straight on and founded his first company at just 24 years old. Under his astute directorship, the business quickly rose to become one of the country's most profitable companies where turnover was in excess of a million dollars in just under one year of its incorporation. On any given day, Alexander juggles his time between managing his businesses, filming for television and serving out his other media obligations. Alexander is passionate about life and with everything that it brings. If you do not find Alexander in the gym, he might be spotted at events, concerts and theatre opening nights. Otherwise, he will also be spotted along the paris end of Collins St in the City as he confesses to being a shopaholic, holding firm to the adage of dressing up for success. And while Alexander enjoys being fully clothed in designer threads and labels, he still has his feet firmly planted on the ground by spending his private time on the glorious beaches in Victoria or conduct readings for his family and friends using his prized tarot decks. In February of 2017, Alexander made his first major TV appearance on the hit reality series "Date my race" produced by film giant Matchbox pictures and broadcasted on SBS Australia. Producers revealed that Alexander was offered the lead role after they had auditioned more than three thousand hopefuls. However, what was initially thought to be another reality dating program where Alexander would get the chance to meet his life partner on national television, it instead became a roller coaster ride for him where Alexander instantly made headlines around the world for his controversial opinions expressed on the TV show. Overnight, media outlets throughout Australia and from overseas jumped in and sensationalised his opinions which instantly set the internet ablaze. Alexander's first brush with fame started back in mid 2015 when he was approached by a publisher to write a business book based on his extensive business experiences but Alexander decided to write a compelling tell-all instead. This hence gave birth to his first book, "True Confessions of a Potato Queen" which Alexander took almost a year off from work, to research on and to write. His book was then launched in March 2016 at the "Chillout" festival in Daylesford, Victoria with resounding success. Available in both the paperback and ebook versions, "True Confessions of a Potato Queen" published by VIVID Publishing, is available on the shelves of all good bookstores worldwide, online or available for a good read at any public library across Australia. For the second half of 2017 and in early 2018, Alexander was kept busy filming for the highly acclaimed nine episode TV series "Everyone's A Critic" (produced by film production giant Matchbox Pictures-NBC Universal). "Everyone's A Critic" premiered 28 June 2018 on Australia's national broadcasting network, the ABC. This TV series has also since been nominated and emerged finalist for "Light Entertainment Series Production of the Year" at the 18th annual Screen Producers Australia (SPA) Awards. Alexander has also filmed for the BBC TV series "Queer Britain" and for the digital TV series "Glam life" broadcasted on the international YUPP TV network produced by Australia's OZ Star Channel. Most recently, Alexander returned to University where he is studying for his postgraduate Juris Doctor-Law degree and upon graduation, he has his eyes set on being a Criminal Law Barrister fighting cases in the Australian courts. This year, Alexander is slated to commence filming for another TV series in mid 2019. He is also writing his second book. |
